Base coated electrodes for vertical welding of large diameter pipes and for structural work. Suitable for welding filler and cover passes in pipe construction. The flux is extremely resistant to cracking and is characterized by high toughness and very low hydrogen content. Special design and development work have enabled this electrode to provide exceptional remarkable properties and avoid starting. Thanks to this and its good welding properties, this special base electrode offers easy handling even in field conditions. The defrosting rate is 80-100% higher than the vertical upward defrosting rate.
